Are Mechanical Contractors starting to use third party companies to Install the Sheet Metal Ductwork?

 

In several of our markets we’ve seen an increase in companies that are built around an increased need: Commercial Duct Installation 

 

Labor Shortages are forcing many Mechanicals to try something new: subcontract the Installation of the Sheet Metal Duct to a third party. This company will vary in the extent of their offering but typically would quote a price for the labor to install plus additional materials required to connect and hang and seal. In most of these cases, the Mechanical will provide a Job Site Supervisor to oversee the installation and coordinate any additional needs or changes with the duct shop.
