Drift Pin Ratchet Tool
The “Must Have” Job Site Tool for connecting Ductmate or TDC/F sections
There’s a critical stage of the Ductmate connection that’s done on the job site in a less controlled environment than the confines of a Duct Fab shop: aligning and connecting the 2 mating gasketed duct sections. Though it’s usually done on the ground and then lifted up, the process can be challenging because those 4 corners of the duct need to be lined up with the mating duct.
Once the Butyl touches the mating section there’s no going back without considerable effort.
4 Drift Pins are used for aligning the Corners; a Ratchet tool is used to tighten the Nuts and Bolts on the 4 Corners.
Of course these tools, especially the Drift Pins, are easily misplaced or dropped so there’s often more time spent in looking for tools than actually using them.
Would a combination Ratchet and Drift Pin Tool allow you to use one less tool?
Duro Dyne’s High Visibility Yellow combination Drift Pin with Ratchet is not only 2 tools in one but it’s also MAGNETIC so when not in use just place on the duct wall.
