Also called Pro Point, TEK and Bit Tip, these Self-Tapping Screws are used in 22 gauge as well as in heavier applications. #10 x 3/4″ is the most common size and Conklin stocks in 5,000 count boxes and also 500 count pails which are ideal for field crews. Many contractors who use the #7 or #8 x 1/2″ Zip Screws have started using the #8 x 3/4″ Drill Screw so as to avoid the need of changing chucks as both use 1/4″ Chucks. #10 x 1-1/2″ Drill Screws work best in attaching Double Vane and Econo Rail (or Prorail) to duct work when duct is 1″ lined.
