Pyramidal tip.The Versa Cleat must be hammered on at an angle so as to not flatten the apex of the crown on the top of the cleat. This would spread the cleat open and thus unable to service it’s purpose of gripping the cleat bubbles on the flange. This makes the ideal means of installation with a cleater tool instead of a hammer.
