Some outboard rollsets require 7 stations, so with this in mind, Flagler designed a Model HS7 (high speed, 7 stations) that runs the same high speed Pittsburgh on one side but does it over 7 stations instead of 6. the purpose of the 7 station High Speed Pitts is because their are some Popular outboard rollsets that require 7 stations to run their respective profile (and thus would not work on a 6 station High Speed)
The most popular of the Outboard Rollsets for the HS7 is the #17-300 4-in-1 Rolls . This 4 step entrance gauge runs 5/8″ Outside Tap, End Cap , 1/2″ Right Angle and 1/4″ Right angle. Another popular rollset is the #17-800 Hem Rolls that form a 1/2″ closed hem at 180 degrees.
