Duro Dyne introduced the 22 oz Excelon several decades ago. The Excelon of today is the FFF—at 17 oz it’s lighter than the original but it has the same tear and tensile strength and UL Listing as the Original MBX. To the user, it’s also stronger and more pliable than the stiffer Original MBX which has to be stretched all the way out before placed in a Hand Brake to avoid splitting.
