SuperSeal HV is a thick, high viscosity product designed for filling gaps between fiberglass up to 1/8” thick. The HV product performs well in applications where Johns Manville Spiracoustic Plus is utilized in fittings such as elbows, reducers or conical Tee’s/Wye’s, where multiple pieces of fiberglass must come together seamlessly. The HV product applies gray in color and dries as a deep black color. SuperSeal HV can be spread easily with a trowel or knife and comes in one gallon pails.
SuperSeal Edge Treatment (pictured right)
SuperSeal Edge Treatment is a derivative of JM’s proprietary Permacote coating formulation used in the factory application of airstream surface and edge coating for JM HVAC products. SuperSealEdge treatment is designed to be air drying and may be brush or spray applied in a deep black color. SuperSeal Edge treatment provides superior product protection against microbial growth. Applications include factory and field repair of the coating on the edges or airstream surface of coated fiberglass products. SuperSeal Edge treatment is a low viscosity formula for easy application to exposed fiberglass edges needing encapsulation. SuperSeal Edge Treatment comes in one gallon pails or 5 gallon buckets.
