Site Requirements for Vicon 510
The Vicon HVAC 520 Cutting System increases a Shop’s efficiency in fabrication of Rectangular Duct Fittings by taking the HVAC 510 and incorporating a 5 x 22 ft continuous Cutting area in place of the standard 5 x 10 Table. This additional cutting space allows shop to have two 5 x 10 (or 4 x 10) sheets on the table or, if they are feeding the Table with Decoilers from a coil line or a plasma feeder, cut a continuous 5ft x 22 ft sheet.
The operator can be putting label stickers on the cut blanks of the first 5 x 10 sheet while the system is burning thru the 2nd sheet.
With a bigger playground, the investment in the High Speed Cutting Software is easily justifiable as it’s able to ramp of to cutting speeds that would not be possible on a single 5 x 10 table. It’s therefore typically purchased with the optional Power Max 65 and the High Speed Cutting Software, thus giving the shop the opportunity to utilize the larger area to increase the cutting speed to almost x 2.
