One of the most manual tasks in Duct Shops is the process of laying out, measuring and manually cutting liner fittings to their corresponding metal fitting. Liner Drop accumulates daily in each shop due to measuring mistakes and poor cut optimization, the result of which is that duct shops buy significantly more liner than necessary each year. Shops that struggle with this are the same ones who understand how much labor and scrap savings the Plasma Table has meant for the metal.

Synchronized on the same cutting software and Paired together on an Aluminum Gantry that Moves fast along the 5 x 20 workspace, one raises out of the way while the other is processing and vice versa. To watch this machine in operation is to wonder why a shop doing a lot of Lined Duct would NOT buy them together . The Liner Cutting system is the natural compliment to any Plasma Table because it works WITH it, interfacing to automatically downsize and cut to the corresponding sheet Metal burned out on the Plasma Table
Router bit for cutting Liner and Plasma Torch for cutting Metal travel on same gantry; one pulls up and out of the way when the other is cutting
- Dual Rack and Pinion Drive on X Axis cutting at an average speed of 1,200 inches per minute but capable of 2,000
- Three segments of backer board which the operator uses as the surface for the liner cutting. Easy to remove when cutting metal and can use the entire table for cutting metal
- For shops with space constraints there is a DL510 available as well
- Router Bit lowers and torch raises when cutting Liner
- Backer board with turf is removed and torch lowers to cut metal
